New unit - Sonoscape SSI-6000 - Replacement

Replacement unit arrived yesterday.
So far everything is fine and the machine running well with no problem.

Service Engineer - Mr. Sum Sheau San, busy with the installation.

Due to problems with flickering and black-out monitor, Engineer opened the machine and tried to clean the contact points at the memory chips.
Unsuccessfully - the problem persist, so the new unit to replace this faulty will be in 2 weeks.

This are what it look like inside the Sonoscape SSI-6000. Above mother board with Intel (R) Celeron (R) D CPU 430 @ 1.80GHz.

Two speakers. Everything look like a ordinary computer except for one sealed compartment for propriety board/circuit.

Screen flicker - Displayed card problems

Problems happened about two weeks after installation. The display monitor will suddenly black-out for one second at about 10 minutes interval. It occur more frequently while the probe was in use examining patient. Luckily no data was loss and I can continuously did the scanning while the flickering happen, but it very annoying.
This machine is under warranty, so I called the support team to rectify it.

Sonoscape - 3D UltraSound Scanner

Acquired a brand new 3D/4D ultrasound machine 1 month ago.

Sonoscape SSI-6000 with 3 transducers - Linear 2D probe (L741), Convex 2D probe (C344) and Volumetric 4D probe (VC6-2) .

this is  my 2nd ultrasound - Toshiba Capasee SSA-220A. Bought in 2000 from Abex Medical System Sdn. Bhd

My first scanner in 1992,  very basic - Toshiba SAL 32B, B&W with very small screen.
This portable machine  was originally brought by Klinik Sulaiman Temerloh. When Dr.Sulaiman bought a new Hitachi scanner, they let me used this old one. Share it with Dr. Amran at KS Bentong every two weeks
Very basic with no software. I have to measure the BPD or CRL with electronic caliper, and referred to the old paper chart to determined the gestation age of pregnancy.

Fully computerized

This clinic was fully computerized with ProfDoc Medical Office software since 2007.
All the patient records are store in a server, and link with LAN to 3 computers at reception, pharmacy and doctor desk.
